I got the first day show of this one with a few friends. Although it was a Yash Chopra production, the movie made sense. Set up in Delhi and places around, the choice of locations is awesome. The directorial debut of Abbas Ali Zafar is turning out to be quite a debut. Katrina Kaif is just her normal self. Imran Khan is working on acting very hard. He is improving by the day. It was good to see Kanwaljit Singh on the screen after a long time.
I read it on Wikipedia that Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is supposed to be a copy or a ripped off version of a movie called ‘Dan In Real Life’ starring Steve Carrell. Haven’t seen that one, so can’t decide. Other than that, it is a typical bollywoody kind of flick, with all the unwanted and untimed musical numbers. The music, if considered separately, is quite good. The song ‘Ajab Sa Risk Hai’ is quite awesome.
