10/10
I can’t describe the feeling, the thing I was going through while and after watching this movie. This movie was all surrounded by the hype, and the thing about the MPAA ratings. Well, to be truthful, being a 22 year old, I couldn’t find a single damn thing that was offensive or something like that. But, I still respect the point of view of the board. And I also don’t want children to watch all this as of yet.
Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling are now two of my favorite actors. I had heard about Michelle Williams earlier also. I had seen a few movies of hers, but rarely noticed her. The story-line was awfully complex and it was so real. At times, relationships get so damn fucked up, eventually. The method of telling the story was surprisingly brilliant. Couldn’t find anything inhuman. It was all real.
Two thumbs up for Derek Cianfrance and his crew for making the movie as it is. A must watch for anyone who loves the art of storytelling and acknowledges the fact that at the end of the day, we are all humans.
Will watch
Tell me when you do !
